The Foundational Questions Institute (FQXi), through the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, awarded the Wolfram Foundation and the Laboratoire de Recherche Scientifique for the Natural and Digital Sciences (LABORES) a grant to develop a high profile series of lectures on "The Physics of Information" and other big questions of a foundational character. The Oxford-based project aims to be collaborative, involving the university alongside other leading institutions.
